Emile Henry Dutch Oven Giveaway!

Happy May, friends! I have a special spring giveaway for you today. Emile Henry is generously giving away one of their gorgeous 7-quart figue-colored (I like to call it aubergine) ceramic Dutch Ovens to a lucky Kitchen Vignettes reader.
Made of a special heatproof ceramic, Emile Henry Dutch Ovens can be used directly on a gas or electrical stovetop or right in the oven. These beautiful Dutch Ovens are basically indestructible, you can heat them up to 930F and they're resistant to thermal shock, which means you could take one out of the freezer and place it directly in a hot oven.

Emile Henry Dutch Ovens are made in Marcigny, France, from high-fired burgundy clay. I love this video showing how the Dutch Ovens are made:

Please note, this giveaway is only eligible to residents of the United States. To enter, please use the Rafflecopter form below. I'll draw a winner on May 15th. Bonne chance mes amis!!

  36. Ooooh, I love Emile Henry and my 18 year old Le Creuset has all the enamel chipping out of the bottom! I am worried that it might be bad for our health to use it but it used to be my everyday-everything pan. I would love to have a new dutch oven to whip up my soups, curries, risotto, etc and to throw a roast in the oven. Mmmmm. Thanks for your fantastic blog!

  55. Dutch ovens remind me of my childhood and family gatherings of grandparents, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and lots of cousins. As someone that cooks every meal from scratch, I would love this dutch oven to add to my kitchen equipment as it is on my wish list. I watched the video and love the tested durability of this product. Awesome that you can put this product through the dishwasher. My passion for cooking generates quite a few dishes and the dishwasher aspect is a bonus. I am amazed that it can go from the freezer to the oven or even sit right on the barbeque, seems almost indestructible! Quality cookware that I would love to own and it would be well loved from soup to bread!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I love to cook and bake. I need quality dishware to make recipes that require baking in a dutch oven. Also would like to make chili and soup in one too.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I have always wanted a good quality Dutch oven to make soups, chilis, bread, and all sorts of other dishes that are better suited to a Dutch oven. Sadly, as a graduate student, I have never been able to afford one. It would be the best addition to my kitchen.

    ReplyDelete
  58. That is beautiful!, would love to cook with it! Thanks for the chance.
